Powered by Sprout Solutions, the leading HRIS platform in the Philippines, SaaScon PH ‘24 made a triumphant comeback as the country’s premier SaaS conference at the Marriott Grand Ballroom in Newport City on April 17, 2024. With a dedicated focus on highlighting the trends, technologies, and strategies, the event set the stage for future B2B SaaS.

AGENIX Digital participated as a program sponsor, with Founder and CEO Clarry Herrera leading the representation alongside members of the Growth and Partnerships department (Delta team)—Kyra Ramos, Head of Growth and Partnerships; Derek Rodrigo, Digital Marketing Manager; and Mark Tuason, Growth and Partnerships Specialist—along with Head of Finance and Administration, Than Supresencia and Creatives Manager, Kenver Baluyot.

Derek, responsible for overseeing the preparations for SaaScon, said that one of their efforts is to build stronger ties with tech-aligned companies and organizations such as Sprout Solutions.

AGENIX Digital's SaaScon stint was geared towards raising awareness about the importance of SEO and its pivotal role in enabling companies to scale in their respective markets.

On-the-spot free SEO consultations

AGENIX Digital’s booth was on-brand—featuring a prominent blue rocket as its identifier and incorporating other hints of blue across all materials. Additionally, a recurring audio-visual presentation showcased the SEOTech agency's refined value proposition.

Managed by the Delta team, AGENIX Digital engaged with numerous SaaScon attendees interested in potential partnerships and over 20 consultees for a 1:1, on-the-spot free SEO consultation.

“​​Our presence at SaaScon is all about showcasing what AGENIX brings to the table and helping SaaScon attendees get an understanding of their current position within their niche’s scene with a personalized, on-the-spot website analysis,” said Kyra as the booth’s growth expert conducting live analyses.

“We've provided them insights into how we can help their brands grow and convert more through search,” she added.

Mark, also in charge of holding SEO analyses, shared, “We've centered our goal around helping the world’s exciting tech companies become the premier thought leaders in their space through data-driven search data.”

“We use Semrush and Ahrefs in our 1:1 analyses to check certain metrics such as keyword search volume, user intent to know why people are searching, and other data to look at how their brands are doing and understand how they can lead the market landscape,” he continued.

Juan Dalisay Jr., Founder of Superphysics, found the SEO analysis systematic. “There was a detailed analysis of the website done beforehand. I was shown what was wrong with my keywords, as well as the process that they would follow for the full solution.“

ISSI Corp. Business Development Manager Shermaine Loffler said the analysis “was brief, showed necessary data that helped understand the situation, and provided quick recommendations for improvements in specific areas to address the data presented.”

Growth stories, tech tools for streamlining processes

In conjunction with AGENIX Digital offering 1:1 SEO consultations, Clarry also participated in a panel discussion titled "Transformative Growth Stories from Industry Leaders in the Philippines," where he was joined by esteemed counterparts Edmund Daniel P. Martinez of Seedbox Securities and Neelam Gopwani of House of Branded Lifestyle Inc.

During the panel discussion, Clarry highlighted the evolving tech landscape and its impact on AGENIX Digital.

"We've seen SaaS build its reputation over the years." 

Kislay Chandra, Chief Operations Officer of Sprout Solutions and moderator of the panel session turns to the panel members with a question: What SaaS tools does your company use right now? Clarry answers, "In terms of SaaS tools, documentation is crucial for our agency. Initially, we had a system in place; however, as our company grew and we brought on more team members, I found myself spending a lot of time relaying information. To address this challenge, we used tools that have assisted us in cascading information to all team members."

He further elaborated on the development of a new tech tool by AGENIX Digital, which is currently halfway through production. Said tool aims to streamline content creation processes and represents a significant shift for AGENIX Digital from a traditional SEO solutions provider to a tech-enabled company. It is the culmination of a process the agency has been doing manually for three years.

This tool utilizes AI technology to generate detailed and optimized content outlines and briefings based on search data derived from a single seed phrase. 

Clarry outlined a three-step process for implementing the tool: ensuring team members understand its purpose, gathering feedback for iterative improvements, and establishing well-documented metrics and standard operating procedures.

In addition to discussing the tech tool, Clarry also emphasized the significance of nurturing relationships internally and externally. This includes ensuring team members feel appreciated and cultivating strong strategic partnerships beyond the company's borders.

One for the books

Ahead of the event, Clarry tells the Delta team that they "won't just be representing themselves as individuals, but also AGENIX Digital as a whole." This statement rang true as a testament to its team members' active participation.

Derek shared his excitement about his role as the admin person of the booth. "It was tiring yet rewarding. I had the chance to network and represent AGENIX Digital, positioning us as the go-to global SEOTech agency. I’m also thankful for the Sprout Solutions team for being supportive and accommodating with our needs and logistics—this is me speaking as the one leading SaaScon preparations."

He continued, "I fully embraced the 'impact ownership' mindset that Clarry has instilled in me and my fellow team members. I'm happy to have engaged with SaaScon attendees who not only showed interest in SEO but were also keen to explore partnerships with us."

“Looking back, it's clear that there are many untapped opportunities for companies to take their brands to greater heights. We’re empowering these companies to take control of their online presence and drive meaningful growth,” said Kyra.

“The excitement we've seen from attendees shows how much SEO can bring value and how they're eager for practical tips to help make their brands get more visibility and eventually get more customers and more revenue,” Mark said.

Than, who helped execute the AGENIX Digital booth and preparations for SaaScon, also shared her post-event insights. “It was a great opportunity to help put AGENIX Digital on the map and to witness how our relatively young company can keep up with companies with decades of experience.”

And Kenver, who was responsible for capturing event scenes, observed that “the event was well-organized and had the opportunity of witnessing another successful event activation executed by the AGENIX Digital team.”

Conferences like SaaScon PH highlight the demand for new tech ideas, providing B2B SaaS industry leaders a platform to explore innovations and collaborate to generate fresh ideas.

SaaScon PH ‘24 convened over 1,300 attendees representing diverse industries worldwide. It made its debut in 2023 to offer attendees valuable insights into the latest trends and solutions within the B2B SaaS and AI landscape.
